Why "Transitions"?
When you have been around the block a few times, you realize that life does not stand still. Things constantly change and grow, developing, and even decaying. We are constantly transitioning from what we were to what we are becoming.
Transitions Photography is about capturing those moments; those points of transition, whether that be a wedding, or moving from one grade to the next, one school to another, or one job to the next. We capture the transitions of life to preserve the memories of who we were, who we are, and who we are becoming.

I love every moment I can be with people smiling and sharing their lives and their stories.
With 5 years working as a full time certified photographer, I bring a lot of experience behind the camera. It has been more than just a passion for me. Unfortunately COVID forced me to take a full time job to pay the mortgage, but that great experience is still available to you. You will always get my best effort no matter what your need is!

Born in the North of Ireland I grew up in Canada - in Guelph, Ontario mostly.
My life has led me to live in many places across our great country - Guelph, Fort Erie, Toronto, Montreal, Prince Rupert, Prince George, Chatham, Fergus, Cambridge Elmira, and now Stratford! It has been an adventure - and it ain't over yet!

In many ways, my life has been a series of transitions. In fact, I look back and feel like I have lead many lives, having had careers as a Pastor, Warehouse Picker, Network Administrator, Mail sorter, Banker and of course Photographer/Videographer. I know what it is like to entirely transition my life in other ways too, as I am trans, non-binary and use the pronouns she/her or they/them. Married for 30 years, I have four children who have taught me a great deal in life as I have watched and helped them make their own transitions growing up.

I'm also familiar with the stress of getting the job done right, when the moment requires quick action. I understand and work well with both people and the technology needed to capture great images.
I love to capture moments that mean the most in people's lives; moments that come only once in a lifetime and usually at those moments of Transition - from single to married, from school to work, or even from year to year as you grow.
