This 3 Hour photography workshop is a good primer class to introduce you to Photography. 

If you are new to photography concepts, it is helpful to take this class before taking any more advanced class.

We will be covering:

  • The parts of a camera

  • How a camera works

  • Tips for improving your composition

​

Requirements:

  • No previous experience required

  • You should own or be thinking of purchasing a camera that allows for manual control

​

  • Min 3 people, maximum 6

  • $85 +HST ($199 for one-on-one class)

Class Description: 

This class is designed to introduce you to the basics of photography beyond pointing your cell phone and clicking the button. Understanding how your camera works and taking advantage of the various settings to improve your images. If you have never used a proper camera before, you may wish to take this class before advancing to the "Getting past the basics" class on Photography.

 

Requirements:

No previous experience is required, however, you should own or be thinking of purchasing a camera that can take advantage of the knowledge gained in this class. It is recommended you bring your camera to class so you can apply the lessons directly to your own equipment.

Resources:

A workbook will be provided as a takeaway to help you retain and practice the knowledge you have gained.

This is a community class offered for personal enrichment. In class questions are encouraged to provide individually directed learning.
